About the Company
HR Coordinator/Compliance plays a key role in supporting the HR functions related to international scholars. This position primarily manages the I-9 process and ensures data integrity in multiple systems related to international scholar records. Experience with international students or scholars, knowledge of immigration regulations, and I-9 processing experience.
Responsibilities
- I-9 Coordination: Serve as the primary contact for conducting in-person I-9 verifications and reverifications for international scholars, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations.
- Record Management: Create, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of international scholar records in systems like Oracle, Ellucian, and Taleo. Participate in data cleaning efforts and generate reports for I-9 and work authorization tracking.
- Data Integrity: Use expertise to independently resolve issues related to record creation and maintenance. Act as a resource for the international team on record management and data integrity practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teams to ensure smooth HR processes for international scholars, offering expert advice on I-9 procedures, work authorization, and data management.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, in line with HR best practices.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree and 1-2 years of administrative and customer service experience. Detail-oriented with proficiency in Excel and data management systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
